If your turnover after Christmas has been impacted by 40% of more as a result of the Omicron wave of COVID-19 and operate a business or not-for-profit organisation in NSW, you may be eligible for a payment under the recently announced Service NSW 2022 Small Business Support Program.
Eligible Employing Businesses and Not-For -Profit Organisations will receive 20% of their weekly payroll as a lump sum for the month of February, with a minimum payment of $750 per week and a maximum payment of $5,000 per week.
Weekly payroll is to be determined by referring the most recent Business Activity Statement (BAS) provided to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for a tax period that falls within the 2020–21 financial year.
Eligible Non-Employing Business will receive $2,000, being $500 per week for the month of February.
