This year, as part of an ongoing CP1 tradition, we have raised a total of $3,000 from contributions by our team members and their families to buy Christmas Gifts for children in need.
With these contributions, we are purchasing gifts for children who are supported by the Girls and Boys Brigade, aged between 5-18. The Girls & Boys Brigade is a not for profit entity that is dedicated to providing quality education, recreation and life skills activities and they have provided a welcoming place for children and youth who need a helping hand.
Our team is committed to giving back to the community with both fundraising and providing probono professional services to community based organisations.
This year, on the 12th December, we are proudly a Gold Sponsor for the Cystic Fibrosis Australia #42FORCF charity marathon fundraiser. CountPlus One and the Count Charitable Foundation has pledged to contribute at least $15,000 to the charity to support the foundations’ endeavours to further research and looking after those in need.
We will be cheering on Joe McCann, a veteran marathon runner from our Count network, who will be representing CountPlus One in the race. Several of our staff will also be volunteering on the day to assist with running the event in Wollongong.
Further information on the important work that Cystic Fibrosis Australia does can be found on their website https://www.cysticfibrosis.org.au/
As with prior years, our office will be closed over the holiday season from close of business on Wednesday 23rd December 2020, and will reopen on Monday 4th January 2021.
If we don’t get a chance to speak with you before then, we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
From the CountPlus One Team.
