COVID-19 Support for NSW Businesses & Individuals

How could the new NSW COVID Support measures support you?

Earlier this week the NSW and federal governments announced additional financial support for businesses affected by the current Greater Sydney Lockdown. Details of the payments and eligibility are still to be confirmed, however the scheme will be managed by Service NSW.

Your accountant is unable to access your Service NSW online account, meaning the application process will need to be completed by the business owner. We recommend you register your interest in the scheme so you receive updates and information directly from Service NSW:

Application for the support will be open from 19th July and we note some assistance will require business to maintain current employees as at Tuesday 13th July for eligibility.

 

Individuals who have lost hours or are unable to work as a result of the lockdown can obtain financial support through Services Australia. Information can be found at https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/covid-19-disaster-payment
